My name is Logan and I am so happy you’re here.

I was born in Fairfax, VA on November 25th, 1992 to two parents who I feel I share equal parts of. I get my creative side and world-view from my father and my discipline and style from my mother. I really do have them both to thank in different ways for the success of Ribbons & Reels.

I love antiquing, home decor, candles, coke zero, and animals. I have two dogs named Boots & Peach and an evil black kitten named Rameses. I would die for them. One of my goals this year is to volunteer for a wildlife rescue center and learn how to help vulnerable animals return to the wild. My idea of a perfect day is having all my candles lit and just being home with my babies (while editing your wedding films of course!).

My papaw documented everything we did as kids. He always had a camcorder in his hand. I’ve cherished those home videos for decades and I believe this deeply influenced my love for videography.

I’d describe my filming style as unobtrusive yet high-end, candid while still being aesthetic, and full of charm. I think my biggest strength is storytelling and allowing you to relive your day without your film feeling contrived or cliche’.

I’ll leave you with this. Your wedding day is going to be here so fast. And unfortunately the day does go by so fast! Your photos and videos are the two things you get to take with you when the night is over (besides each other hehe). Having someone there to document everything you see and don’t get to see, is paramount. I hope I can be the one to do it.
